Tea and coffee making facilities and mineral water are also available. The hotel Bar serves bar meals in the evenings and although full restaurant service is not provided, there are many restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. Breakfast is served in the hotel breakfast room.
Hotel and location: The Umi Hotel is a 3* Victorian townhouse hotel located in a quiet garden square in the popular Bayswater area just above Hyde Park. Close by are Portobello Road and Notting Hill with their many shopping opportunities, antique shops and restaurants. Bayswater and Queensway tube stations are a 5 minute walk away, with direct access to the West End in 6 minutes. Paddington is a 10 minute walk, giving swift access to the Heathrow Express.
Getting there: By Tube: Nearest Tube is Bayswater. Turn left outside the station, continue 100m. At the traffic lights turn left and walk 250m to the end of the road and turn right. Then turn left and the hotel is 100m on the right.
By Road: Take the North or South Circular to the junction with the A40. Head East towards Central London on the A40. At the end of the A40 head south on Porchester Road for 400m before turning right onto Westbourne Grove. Continue for 1 kilometre along Westbourne Grove and then turn left onto Hereford Road. Take the 1st left onto Leinster Square, the hotel is on the left.
